Stop taking Aspirin – Aspirin is a blood thinner and could produce entirely unwanted results if you end up under the knife while under its influence.
Watch your Health – If you end up with a cold or another illness prior to undergoing your rhinoplasty procedure it would be best to inform us. You might be in a hurry to move forward with your procedure, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry!
Take Vitamins – Because vitamins are an essential part of healing, it would be within your best interest to start taking them now – before you actually undergo the surgery. This will give them time to work through your system and give you the results that you actually want.
Arrange a Ride – You don’t want to drive after your surgery, and if you are planning to be an outpatient, then it would be best to arrange a ride home the day of.
Stock up on cold compresses before you head in for your surgery, and make sure you have light foods on hand. This includes juices, tea, toast, crackers, bagels, jelly, and anything else that doesn’t require massive facial commitment. In addition to that, you should make sure that you speak with your physician and start any medication regiments that they suggest for you in particular before you actually undergo your surgery.
As with most other procedures, you will want to avoid eating or drinking anything before midnight just prior to your surgery, and if you want to eat right after, it is strongly recommended stick to soft foods like Jell-O.
The day you head in for your appointment with your Miami Rhinoplasty surgeon it is strongly recommended that you wash your face and avoid wearing makeup. In addition to that, do not wear hairpieces, wigs, or pull over tops. Your surgery will be over quickly, and before you know it, you will be able to get back to your life.
